Dennis R. Slagle, president and CEO, Volvo Construction Equipment North America, Inc., has been named president and chief executive officer of Mack Trucks, Inc., succeeding Paul L. Vikner. A 30-year-old man was seriously injured after the logging truck he was driving rolled on Wright Rd in Matakana last Tuesday.
The man was thrown from the truck, and was treated for serious crush injuries before being transported by helicopter to Auckland Hospital.
