Beaver County driver killed as vehicle slides into truck

An Ambridge man was killed shortly Friday when the vehicle he was driving skidded out of control while rounding a curve on a Beaver County roadway and slid into the path of an oncoming truck.

Dale Sirinek, 62, who was not wearing a seat belt, died when he was partially ejected from the wreckage of the crash that occurred along Big Knob Road in New Sewickley, township Patrolman Timothy Gatehouse said.

The driver of the truck, John Kerns, 38, of Baden was taken to a hospital for minor injuries, Gatehouse said.
