Motorists stuck in Las Vegas traffic already make up a captive audience for radio. But drivers are also being exposed to an increasing number of mobile advertising companies.

One local company is creating a niche out of this fuel-injected marketing trend: 3-D trucks.

Longtime Las Vegas restaurateur William Crozer has gone from opening famous-name eateries such as N9NE Steakhouse at the Palms to wrapping cars. Now he dabbles in “living art” through upstart marketing firm Fast Track Moving Media. The company ferries advertising displays around town in glass-paneled trucks. The glass panels allow drivers to see the displays inside the trucks’ cabs. Furniture stores, for example, have been among the first businesses to use his company to put on road shows of their products.

The Fast Track team extends beyond the two-truck, three-dimensional realm.

“We have a unique fleet of servers. We have car wraps and fleet teams,” Crozer said. A neighbor’s car might be wrapped with a graphic vinyl banner promoting a radio station such as KKLZ-FM (96.3) or another business. Fast Track contracts with drivers to wrap their vehicles and drive specified routes.
