Easy Rack understands that customization is the key to safety, ergonomics, and success. Heavy construction equipment is used in so many different ways that the need to specialize and customize fork trucks, masonry tools, and skid-steers becomes readily apparent on an almost daily basis. Easy Rack heavy construction equipment and customization services are intended to make the tool you choose for the job the very best tool for that job.
Forklift
Forklifts attachments are OSHA compliant heavy construction equipment that transforms forklifts into loading platforms. Standard safety platforms allow the forklift to reach over obstructions too high for scissor lifts and other heavy construction equipment. They provide much wider platforms than boom lifts and can be elevated more rapidly than scaffold.
Skid-Steer
Skid-steer products allow you to customize your loading into a specialized piece of heavy construction equipment. Scoop and mix concrete mixers allow you to scoop up sand and gravel in the bucket position, then rotate for in-place concrete mixing. Hoppers allow you to clear debris from construction sites and landscaping projects. Root grapples and grapple buckets allow landscaping crews to clear and prepare properties for a new look.
Masonry
Easy Rack Masonry Equipment for Heavy Construction offers time and labor saving solutions to the builder. Mortar Buggies are an excellent way to move mortar into areas that cannot be accessed by forklifts. Brick Carts and Block Carts often save companies as much as 80% on labor cost to move brick and block. Nesting Forklift Mortar Tubs are easily to move, and they can be stacked stored with your forklift. In fact, all Easy Rack masonry heavy construction equipment combines rugged durability with portability and convenient storage. The Veneer Scaffold combines strength and light weight, is easy to set up, and requires no braces. Mortar Board and Plaster and Masonry Stands can be folded flat after used and stored easily.
Heavy Construction Equipment Forks
You can outfit your forklift or your skid-steer with many types of forks. Forks get damaged to the point that they need to be replaced. Easy Rack carries replacement forks in brick, block and general purpose styles. Each style is specially designed for the designated purposes. Over the bucket forks allow you to use your skid steer vehicle as a forklift. These are fully forged, one-piece forks, not the kind made of two pieces of steel welded together. Over the bucket forks allow you to use your skid steer vehicle as a forklift. These are fully forged, one-piece forks, not the kind made of two pieces of steel welded together. Another add on for your skid-steer is the fork frame attachment that features bright red fork tips clearly visible for safety reasons, and a heavy duty tapered backstop that keeps the forks from swinging when picking up very heavy or odd sized loads.
Tow/Load/Haul
Heavy construction equipment often has to be moved by an individual worker. In order to make this as ergonomically compliant and safe as possible, special tow, load, and hauling tools are strongly recommended, especially when moving heavy construction equipment that is bulky or manufactured with disproportionate dimensions. Load and tows reduce customer wait time, cut labor cost by helping workers get the job done faster with little or no need for overtime, prevent back injury, and reduce damage to equipment. Ramps and steel loaded pins allow for easy and safe transportation via fork truck.
Itis a global leader in conducting capital-asset auctions that are industry-specific. These auctions amount to billions of dollars in assets. Government agencies, financial institutions and large corporations are assisted in their asset disposal, by auctions, in order to get the highest value for their capital-assets. Peterbilt trucks are an example of a capital asset that a company would have to sell through an industry-specific auction in order to gain maximum value from the sale.
There are more than 25 asset categories that are covered. They understands the capital equipment market and have valuation and auction experience of over six decades. They conducts auctions worldwide with over 40 locations throughout North America, Asia-Pacific and Europe. An RV travel trailer, or caravan, is a small trailer in which people can live and travel simultaneously. RV travel trailers as well as other types of camping accommodations have had a long and varied history…
In the USA, this history can be traced back to the early days in the 1920s when people of the time called these travelers. As time progressed, trailers became more livable and earned a new name “House Trailer”.the industry seemed to split, creating the two distinctly different entities that we see today, that of the recreational vehicle (RV) industry and Mobile home industry. Today, travel trailers are classified as a type of RV along with motor homes, teardrop trailers, and truck camper.
Smaller RV travel trailers and pop-ups are still made with touring in mind. These generally are less than 18′ long and contain simple amenities. They are lightweight and quick to set up or prepare for travel. Most weigh less than 3000 lbs or about 1300 Kg and can be towed with a large car or small truck. Mid-range travel trailers are 18′- 25′, can weigh 5000 lbs or more, and are generally towed with compact V-8 powered pick up trucks and SUVs. They have most of the amenities of the larger travel trailers but have sleeping accommodations for fewer people.
Larger RV travel trailers are made keeping in mind the seasonal or full-time users. These generally range from 25’-40′ long and contain all the luxurious comforts. They require a large tow vehicle, either large trucks or SUVs; these can weigh up to 12000 pounds or more. Multiple TVs and Air Conditioners are common features found on these RV travel trailers. Slide-out rooms and screen porches add value to larger RV travel trailers. Fleetwood RV manufactures a high end line of full size RVs and trailers.
With time, RV Travel Trailers have witnessed many innovations. One such innovation in RV Travel Trailer is the “Toy Box.” Half living area and half garage, you can roll down all the toys to the countryside. A folding rear ramp gives access for Motorcycles, ATVs, Personal Watercraft, even racecars, to the back half. A built-in generator provides power for A/C, TV, and microwave. Another innovation is the hybrid travel trailer that combines the features of a pop-up trailer and a hard-sided trailer.
A typical mid-range, modern RV Travel Trailer will contain the features such as, Gas/Electric powered refrigerator, Gas/Electric powered stove, oven and grill and Gas/Electric powered water heater. It contains one or more beds, some of which double-up for daytime seating. Electricity is usually supplied by battery or external hookups. Some even come equipped with RV Solar Systems. Toilet comes with removable disposal tank and flush-water tank. Shower is for your bathing needs. Radio, CD players, TV aerial/satellite dish etc for entertainment. Air conditioning, clothes washer and dryer, Microwave etc, are additional attraction on a RV Travel Trailer.

Mercedes Behind-the-Line-Mercedes -Benz is to bring its first hybrid drive passenger car to market in summer 2009. Based on the S 350, the S 400 BlueHYBRID combines a 205 kW (279 bhp) 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine with a 15 kW (20 bhp) electric motor for a combined output of 220 kW (299 bhp) and a combined maximum torque of 385 newton metres. The new Mercedes will be the world’s most economical (7.9 l/100 km) luxury saloon with a spark-ignition engine and will have the world’s lowest CO2 emissions Green-Business-Travel in this vehicle and performance class at just 190 grams per kilometre. The motor will use a particularly efficient high-voltage lithium-ion battery specially developed for automotive use and a 7G-TRONIC seven-speed automatic transmission specially configured for the hybrid car module.
The compact hybrid module is a disc-shaped electric motor that also acts as a starter and generator. The system as it both helps to save fuel and increases driving enjoyment. This is partly due to the booster effect of the electric motor, as it powerfully backs up the petrol engine with a maximum additional torque of 160 newton metres during the high-consumption acceleration phase. The driver benefits from the combined action of these two units in the form of even more impressive torque characteristics and smooth, effortlessly superior acceleration.
The hybrid module also has a comfortable start stop function, which switches the engine off when the vehicle is at a standstill – for example at traffic lights. When it’s time to move off again, the electric motor almost imperceptibly restarts the main power unit. This likewise makes a contribution to fuel economY and environmental protection: because the engine restarts first time, and practically instantly, emissions are also minimised during the starting phase.
When the vehicle is braked the electric motor acts as a generator, and is able to recover braking energy by a process known as recuperation. Working in finely tuned partnership, the electric motor supplements the braking effect of the petrol engine and the wheel brakes to deliver a smoothly progressive braking action. The recuperated energy is stored in a compact yet highly efficient lithium-ion battery in the engine compartment, and made available when required. This complex system is managed by a high-performance control unit, which is likewise located in the engine compartment.
The centrepiece of the modular, very compact and highly efficient hybrid drive system is the new high-voltage lithium-ion battery, which was specially developed for automotive use and is the first such unit worldwide to be introduced in a series-production vehicle. In this way Mercedes-Benz is making a trailblazing contribution to the electrification of the car, with the S-Class once again playing the role of the technological trendsetter.
Major advantages over conventional nickel/metal hydride batteries include a higher energy density and better electrical efficiency, together with more compact dimensions and a lower weight. Thanks to space-saving installation in the engine compartment, where it replaces the conventional starter battery, the generous interior space and boot capacity of the S 400 remain unchanged. The lithium-ion battery not only stores energy for the electric motor, but is also connected to the 12-Volt onboard network via the transformer to supply power to other standard consumers such as the headlamps and comfort features. The completely newly designed battery system consists of the cell block with its lithium-ion cells and the cell monitoring system, the battery management function, the high-strength housing, the cooling gel, the cooling plate, the coolant feed and the high-voltage connector.

There are a few common problems that many Truckers come across with the motorists. By exercising a little of that common sense, many accidents involving Heavy Duty Trucks and Passenger vehicles could be avoided. That old adage, “It is better to be Safe than Sorry,” certainly applies here!
Even with a limited number of things to move, your car can be too small and it will take many trips to get all things to another place. Launching has been somewhat of an adventure, and although we have not covered even one percent of our grounds yet, things are moving rapidly. We have established ourselves on the Internet and are quickly becoming known in the business. Working advertising for trucks and trailers in the entire 50 states as our main source of revenue our company is doing well.
There are a few common problems that many Truckers come across with the motorists.
1. Peek-a-boo! - Now you see them, now you don’t. This peek-a-boo game is very troublesome to truckers. Large trucks have several blind spots which make it hard for the drivers to see other motorists who like to hang out there. The best thing that you can do is either pass the truck or stay a comfortable distance behind them. When in doubt, check for the trucker’s side view mirrors. If you can see them, then chances are that they might be able to see you too.
2. Brake this habit – Many of us at one point or another gets stuck behind a large truck. So the most logical step would be to change the lanes to pass the truck away. No problems with that. the problem lies in a vehicle cutting back into the truck’s lane right in front of them, then braking for a turn or just slowing down, period. What most motorists don’t take into account is that truckers need a lot of space in order to slow down, at least two to three times the amount of passenger vehicles.
3. Teaching a lesson - Some drivers of passenger vehicles like to try and “teach” truckers a good lesson. Several times drivers think that the big Trucks and Trailers are either going too rapidly or slow. So they’ll speed up to pass the trucker and then get back in the trucker’s lane and slow down. Many parents tell their kids, “Worry about yourself,” and it would be smart for other motorists to heed that advice. Leave it to the troopers and policemen to enforce the laws of the road.
4. Back up and try again - In this day and age of technology, people are more accustomed to instant results and hate waiting for anything. Unfortunately, when big trucks have to back into a space, it may take a few tries to succeed. Motorists should appreciate the fact that these trucks are bigger than they are and let the truckers do their job. Patience can be a virtue.

The Ford trucks have been a favorite of many of Americas truck owners for the last decade And also Ford F150 is favourite. The powerstroke diesel engine puts out a lot of power and has been known to get excellent fuel economy. Times have been hard lately though. The economy has been down and diesel fuel prices have been on the rise. People are trying to figure out what to do. Their diesel gets better mileage than the gas Trucks, but it just doesn’t seem like enough anymore.
The first choice of any powerstroke owner to increase their fuel mileage is a chip or programmer of some sort. The types available change between the different powerstroke engines available. For example the 94-03 powerstrokes have a 7.3L engine, the 03-07 powerstrokes have a 6.0L engine and the new 2008 powerstrokes have a 6.4L engine. The chips and tuners available vary depending on the engine. Most of the 7.3L engines and 6.0L engines are able to gain anywhere from one to five miles per gallon just by installing the new chip or programmer or module. The 6.4L engines aren’t so lucky. They have an new emissions control system that hampers performance and especially fuel economy. Great for the air…bad for fuel consumption and the pocket book. The 6.4L’s are only gaining about .5 to 1 MPG with a computer upgrade.
Air intakes and exhaust systems are another thing that will increase power and fuel economy. Most intakes give about 1 mile per gallon, and most exhaust systems give anywhere from 2 to 4 miles per gallon of an increase. The best thing is the power is a by product of the increased fuel efficiency. Also by upgrading the engine, intake, and exhaust you relieve engine stress and back pressure. To a conservative driver this means added engine longevity.

It has always been a debate whether to buy new or used construction equipment for sale. Smaller fleets prefer to buy used heavy equipment as they attract less capital investments. Another reason for people to opt for used equipment is that they are sometimes as good as new and come at a very heavy discounted price as compared to that offered at the showrooms.
Moreover, Associated Equipment Distributors (AED) and TradeYard, Inc, have jointly announced an alliance that shall provide certified inspection of used construction equipment that can also be sold online. This has been done to boost the business-to-business sales via online medium. It gives better promotion to the sale of the equipment and buyers to be confident about their purchase. Usually buyers buy the equipment only upon the preliminary inspection done by the technical agent from either the buyer or the seller side. Since a neutral and unbiased inspection report shall be available it would lead to increased sales and more profitable bargains to small investors. Small fleet owners usually opt for used construction equipment sold from earlier projects. Large construction companies that carry huge fleets of machinery and can also strike a good bargain at onsite purchase of such certified used equipment.
There had always been a skeptical attitude towards the economies in the Indian sub-continent, Russia or Latin America. But over the past years these economies have shown a constant and steady growth. The demand to construct new projects or to renew the old ones has been always in demand. Since these countries are not as cash rich and affluent, they usually have constructors who have smaller fleets. Moreover, they also do not have enough capital to be invested in developing a large fleet. They are always on a look out for used machinery. Along with this these constructors take on projects in the neighboring countries and shifting heavy construction equipment is also not feasible. Thus sales of such equipments is constantly in demand.
Apart from the projects in these countries, bigger companies take up their projects in the continent of Africa and also the Gulf countries. Thus they opt to buy used construction machinery available locally from the companies or constructors who wish dispose off their fleets. The used heavy equipment are also on the sale due to the feasibility reasons that lie on the seller’s side as well. The companies who have finished off their projects in foreign lands and take up projects in other countries, for such large companies it is more feasible to dispose off their machinery and assemble a new fleet at the onsite location rather than carry them to the new land. This is due to the reason that various countries have different rules for export and import of heavy equipment required for infrastructure development.
Some countries impose heavy taxes and import duties to restrict import of used concrete equipment. This is done to prevent the domestic markets and small construction companies with limited resources. Further, export of such equipment requires various documentation procedure, inspections and other legal formalities. All such activities are not only tedious but also time consuming. These formalities also require lot of duty fulfillment at both the ends. Moreover clearance at the ports and damage caused in handling and shifiting these equipments is also very tedious job. Thus construction companies prefer to buy new or used construction equipment locally. Only Large construction companies or companies who have strategic partnerships in the local market for a company prefer to import a part of their used construction equipment for their ongoing projects.

2008 has been one heck of a year for truck owners, or any other driver for that matter. Fuel prices have gone through the roof, so much so that many of us feel like we’re no longer working to make ends meet for our families, but to hand over whatever we make to the big oil companies. It is absolutely infuriating to see oil companies make stupendous record profits quarter after quarter, and then have them tell us prices will likely go up even more because of Wall Street or because some of their refineries are “down for maintenance.” And as if the outrageous cost of gas and diesel isn’t bad enough, many of us are now stuck with vehicles whose resale value has collapsed because suddenly everybody wants a Prius. It’s easy to panic when you discover you owe more on your truck than its now depressed resale value, if it even has one. The instinct of many truck owners is to ditch the vehicle, even at a loss. If you feel that way, don’t do it. Everything is cyclical, the situation will look different a year from now, and often there are easy fixes that can make a big difference. For example, have you ever thought of getting a retractable tonneau cover?
In case you’re not quite sure what retractable tonneau covers are, we’re talking about easily installed roll top covers that convert the open bed of your pickup truck into a bedlocker. Some are full metal for extra security, some have remote controls for easy use, some have special locks, and there are “jackrabbit” retractable systems that make it super-easy to open and close the cover. The overall idea of a tonno is add utility to a truck by letting you close off the bed. That way you can keep cargo out of sight and also nice and dry when it rains. It makes an awful lot of sense, especially since you can simply roll the tonne up when you don’t need it. The whole cover retracts into a small box mounted behind the rear window.
The point was trying to make here is that there are always going to be situations that force people into knee jerk reactions. When gas prices hit four dollars a gallon in mid-2008, a lot of shortsighted folks dump trucks and SUVs and bought smaller, less utilitarian vehicles at grossly inflated prices.and some of our trucks are perhaps a bit bigger than they have to be, but it makes no sense to over-react. Not when you can actually safe a lot more by doing a combination of sensible things like cutting out unnecessary trips, inflating tires properly, making sure the air filter is reasonably clean, and keep the foot off the accelerator no matter how tempting it is to hear that engine roar.
Or treat yourself to a cool truck tonneau. It just makes sense. They don’t cost a lot, they go on easy (you don’t even have to drill), they look great, they add utility, and they even save gas. Yes, those retractable tonneau covers improve the aerodynamics of the truck and that, in turn, reduces fuel consumption. Not by a lot, but perhaps a mile per gallon or two. If you drive a lot, that adds up.

The demographic is changing at recreational-vehicle campgrounds across America. As baby boomers enter their prime RV-buying years over the next decade, the number of RV-owning households is expected to jump to nearly 8 million-a 15-percent increase.
That’s good news for companies an RV manufacturer owned by the Bontrager family that posted $325 million in revenue, an increase from $320 million reported. The company is based in Middlebury, near Elkhart. January 2003 saw the 13th straight month of gains in total RV wholesale shipments, according to data from the Reston, Va.-based Recreational Vehicle Industry Association.
Wholesale shipments are now projected to rise to 316,900 units, a 2-percent increase from last year.
“Strong RV for sale have directly benefited from low interest rates and indirectly benefited from the extra money generated from mortgage refinancing,” who provides quarterly market forecasts for the RV industry.
Getting to know the customers has become a primary focus. According to industry figures, nearly 10 percent of adults 55 and older own an RV, only slightly exceeding the 8.9-percent ownership rate among 35- to 54-year-olds. The study, commissioned by the RVIA, indicates that the average RV owner is 49 years old and married, with an annual household income of $56,000.
The growing popularity of driving vacations is also helping fuel industry growth,”Families want to escape to America’s outdoors in these uncertain times, spend quality time together and avoid hassles associated with flying-all longterm trends likely to sustain continued RV market growth.”
With all the innovations in RVs, they have come a long way from your father’s pop-up camper or grandfather’s Airstream, both in terms of style and comfort. But the appeal of hitting the highway with the family continues.
“Overall, there is a strong and enduring appeal to the RV lifestyle that is as valid today as it was 20 years ago,”"The latest survey data only adds support to an optimistic forecast of RV sales and future ownership growth.”
“We don’t have our sights set on being the largest RV company necessarily,”"We don’t look at ourselves as a large company,This year we will build more than 20,000 RVs, but we want all our people to do their job as if we are building them one at a time. Our vision is to be the most respected name in the RV business.”
