It has always been a debate whether to buy new or used construction equipment for sale. Smaller fleets prefer to buy used heavy equipment as they attract less capital investments. Another reason for people to opt for used equipment is that they are sometimes as good as new and come at a very heavy discounted price as compared to that offered at the showrooms.
Moreover, Associated Equipment Distributors (AED) and TradeYard, Inc, have jointly announced an alliance that shall provide certified inspection of used construction equipment that can also be sold online. This has been done to boost the business-to-business sales via online medium. It gives better promotion to the sale of the equipment and buyers to be confident about their purchase. Usually buyers buy the equipment only upon the preliminary inspection done by the technical agent from either the buyer or the seller side. Since a neutral and unbiased inspection report shall be available it would lead to increased sales and more profitable bargains to small investors. Small fleet owners usually opt for used construction equipment sold from earlier projects. Large construction companies that carry huge fleets of machinery and can also strike a good bargain at onsite purchase of such certified used equipment.
There had always been a skeptical attitude towards the economies in the Indian sub-continent, Russia or Latin America. But over the past years these economies have shown a constant and steady growth. The demand to construct new projects or to renew the old ones has been always in demand. Since these countries are not as cash rich and affluent, they usually have constructors who have smaller fleets. Moreover, they also do not have enough capital to be invested in developing a large fleet. They are always on a look out for used machinery. Along with this these constructors take on projects in the neighboring countries and shifting heavy construction equipment is also not feasible. Thus sales of such equipments is constantly in demand.
Apart from the projects in these countries, bigger companies take up their projects in the continent of Africa and also the Gulf countries. Thus they opt to buy used construction machinery available locally from the companies or constructors who wish dispose off their fleets. The used heavy equipment are also on the sale due to the feasibility reasons that lie on the seller’s side as well. The companies who have finished off their projects in foreign lands and take up projects in other countries, for such large companies it is more feasible to dispose off their machinery and assemble a new fleet at the onsite location rather than carry them to the new land. This is due to the reason that various countries have different rules for export and import of heavy equipment required for infrastructure development.
Some countries impose heavy taxes and import duties to restrict import of used concrete equipment. This is done to prevent the domestic markets and small construction companies with limited resources. Further, export of such equipment requires various documentation procedure, inspections and other legal formalities. All such activities are not only tedious but also time consuming. These formalities also require lot of duty fulfillment at both the ends. Moreover clearance at the ports and damage caused in handling and shifiting these equipments is also very tedious job. Thus construction companies prefer to buy new or used construction equipment locally. Only Large construction companies or companies who have strategic partnerships in the local market for a company prefer to import a part of their used construction equipment for their ongoing projects.

2008 has been one heck of a year for truck owners, or any other driver for that matter. Fuel prices have gone through the roof, so much so that many of us feel like we’re no longer working to make ends meet for our families, but to hand over whatever we make to the big oil companies. It is absolutely infuriating to see oil companies make stupendous record profits quarter after quarter, and then have them tell us prices will likely go up even more because of Wall Street or because some of their refineries are “down for maintenance.” And as if the outrageous cost of gas and diesel isn’t bad enough, many of us are now stuck with vehicles whose resale value has collapsed because suddenly everybody wants a Prius. It’s easy to panic when you discover you owe more on your truck than its now depressed resale value, if it even has one. The instinct of many truck owners is to ditch the vehicle, even at a loss. If you feel that way, don’t do it. Everything is cyclical, the situation will look different a year from now, and often there are easy fixes that can make a big difference. For example, have you ever thought of getting a retractable tonneau cover?
In case you’re not quite sure what retractable tonneau covers are, we’re talking about easily installed roll top covers that convert the open bed of your pickup truck into a bedlocker. Some are full metal for extra security, some have remote controls for easy use, some have special locks, and there are “jackrabbit” retractable systems that make it super-easy to open and close the cover. The overall idea of a tonno is add utility to a truck by letting you close off the bed. That way you can keep cargo out of sight and also nice and dry when it rains. It makes an awful lot of sense, especially since you can simply roll the tonne up when you don’t need it. The whole cover retracts into a small box mounted behind the rear window.
The point was trying to make here is that there are always going to be situations that force people into knee jerk reactions. When gas prices hit four dollars a gallon in mid-2008, a lot of shortsighted folks dump trucks and SUVs and bought smaller, less utilitarian vehicles at grossly inflated prices.and some of our trucks are perhaps a bit bigger than they have to be, but it makes no sense to over-react. Not when you can actually safe a lot more by doing a combination of sensible things like cutting out unnecessary trips, inflating tires properly, making sure the air filter is reasonably clean, and keep the foot off the accelerator no matter how tempting it is to hear that engine roar.
Or treat yourself to a cool truck tonneau. It just makes sense. They don’t cost a lot, they go on easy (you don’t even have to drill), they look great, they add utility, and they even save gas. Yes, those retractable tonneau covers improve the aerodynamics of the truck and that, in turn, reduces fuel consumption. Not by a lot, but perhaps a mile per gallon or two. If you drive a lot, that adds up.

The demographic is changing at recreational-vehicle campgrounds across America. As baby boomers enter their prime RV-buying years over the next decade, the number of RV-owning households is expected to jump to nearly 8 million-a 15-percent increase.
That’s good news for companies an RV manufacturer owned by the Bontrager family that posted $325 million in revenue, an increase from $320 million reported. The company is based in Middlebury, near Elkhart. January 2003 saw the 13th straight month of gains in total RV wholesale shipments, according to data from the Reston, Va.-based Recreational Vehicle Industry Association.
Wholesale shipments are now projected to rise to 316,900 units, a 2-percent increase from last year.
“Strong RV for sale have directly benefited from low interest rates and indirectly benefited from the extra money generated from mortgage refinancing,” who provides quarterly market forecasts for the RV industry.
Getting to know the customers has become a primary focus. According to industry figures, nearly 10 percent of adults 55 and older own an RV, only slightly exceeding the 8.9-percent ownership rate among 35- to 54-year-olds. The study, commissioned by the RVIA, indicates that the average RV owner is 49 years old and married, with an annual household income of $56,000.
The growing popularity of driving vacations is also helping fuel industry growth,”Families want to escape to America’s outdoors in these uncertain times, spend quality time together and avoid hassles associated with flying-all longterm trends likely to sustain continued RV market growth.”
With all the innovations in RVs, they have come a long way from your father’s pop-up camper or grandfather’s Airstream, both in terms of style and comfort. But the appeal of hitting the highway with the family continues.
“Overall, there is a strong and enduring appeal to the RV lifestyle that is as valid today as it was 20 years ago,”"The latest survey data only adds support to an optimistic forecast of RV sales and future ownership growth.”
“We don’t have our sights set on being the largest RV company necessarily,”"We don’t look at ourselves as a large company,This year we will build more than 20,000 RVs, but we want all our people to do their job as if we are building them one at a time. Our vision is to be the most respected name in the RV business.”

Used car dealing is a huge business in USA. And with increasing number of foreigners immigrating or coming for long and short term, it is increasing in mammoth ratio. In Texas too, used car business is flourishing at a high rate. The innumerable dealers of Chevrolet, Volkswagen, Kia, and Nissan gives an idea of how Houston Texas Used Car Dealers’ market is flourishing.
If you want to purchase a used car, just sit before your computer and go through various websites. You think of a query and it will be solved within minutes. They provide the viewers every possible information regarding cost, mileage or accident history. Information about vehicle type, year of manufacturing and model, everything will be within your reach instantly. They let the viewers know about the loan facilities, online calculators, service providers and everything with just a click of the mouse.
When buying a used car, there are certain points buyer must keep in mind. Firstly, the dealer should be reliable. An experienced dealer is always recommendable because they honor their customer for their goodwill. Among Houston Texas used car dealers, many of them are in business for more than fifty years. With a strong foothold in market, such dealers always come handy when a problem crops up with the car. A used car would naturally give trouble to the owner every now and then and hence owner would rush to the dealer. An experienced dealer would ensure a cut in these visits.
Next to the car, second most important factor is the car insurance. Many of Houston, Texas used car dealers offer plans that extend the manufacturer warranty to cater the requirements of both the car and the driver. These plans start from 3 yrs/50,000 miles to 7 yrs/100.000 miles. Then there are other plans like Maximum Care Service, which protects the entire car, or there is Powertrain contract to insure its parts. There is complementary Towing Assistance and Rental Allowance along with these plans. These plans are available with any Chrysler dealer in Houston.
If you are buying a used car for sale, you should be careful enough to choose a dealer who offers quality parts to maintain your vehicle. They should also have inventory of these certified
parts. These are the key factor of a smooth running car.
So, if you are a new driver, running short of cash or have come to Texas temporarily and don’t want to invest much, you know what are the dos and don’ts, where to go and what to keep in mind. Have a nice and safe driving.

Sometimes it can be a challenge to tell one bowrider from another, but this isn’t an issue with the Sugar Sand Tango Xtreme.
Bowriders are the most popular trailerboat available, so it comes as no surprise that an under 20-foot bowrider from company A might be very similar to an under 20-foot bowrider. In the case of the 16-foot, 6-inch Tango Xtreme, however, it becomes easy to stand out in the crowd.
A combination of factors work together to give the Tango Xtreme a unique look and feel. Its small size, jet-driven power, bold style and creative seating create a boat that is as fun to look at as it is to drive.
Its small size and light weight make it easy to tow, even with a small truck — and it’s also easy to maneuver around the docks and fit into the garage. Jet drives bring a number of advantages to the water. They’re shallow drafting, so your cruising opportunities increase while the likelihood of hitting bottom decreases. Jet drives are much lighter that their stern drive cousins (our 200 hp Mercury Jet Drive weighed 367 pounds while a 190 hp MerCruiser stern drive weighs 848 pounds, for a difference of 481 pounds), which vastly improves the all-important horsepower-to-weight ratio. This is one of the reasons jet-driven craft have such punchy acceleration and performance.
The Tango Xtreme is definitely easy on the eyes. Its low-profile hull and bold color options allow you to pick a color scheme that matches your personality. Our test boat was white and black with silver metal flake accents, and we were getting looks from the time we pulled into the marina until the time we left.
Inside you’ll find a different kind of seating than what you’re used to with a traditional bowrider. This boat drives and handles like a race car, so it’s good for everybody to have his or her own seat and one or two grab handles. Three seats sit forward of the engine compartment, with the starboard seat belonging to the driver. There’s another seat forward to port that faces inboard and slightly aft, as well as a seat forward to starboard that faces inboard and slightly forward.
By going on the diagonal, these two seats give each passenger much more legroom than if each seat faced directly inboard. All of these seats have Sugar Sand’s web suspension seating, which prevents your behind from bottoming out and hitting a hard surface while navigating through bumpy water. Even though this is a small boat and most of the space is dedicated to seating and the motor, there is still a decent amount of storage space. There are a couple of compartments in the bow, which will hold your PFDs and some other gear. Under the port seat is dedicated storage for a small carry-on cooler, which comes standard. There’s a big ski locker in the sole, which will hold your water toys and other gear. There’s also room in the engine compartment on each side of the motor.
All the way aft is the integrated swim platform. Sugar Sand probably could have made this a much smaller swim step and increased the acreage in the cockpit, but we’re glad to see a large swim platform, which is a big plus in the watersports arena. The platform has a nonskid surface and a boarding ladder that deploys at a 45-degree angle instead of straight down, so getting back aboard is more like walking up stairs than climbing a ladder.

This is a great family-oriented vacation spot where you can have the best of everything. You can get a camping spot on the edge of a hill surrounded by trees, and it’s just a short drive to miniature golf, go-cart riding and water slides. There are lots of great water parks in the area, which are always a big hit with the kids.

As things get increasingly tougher in the new car market due to the global economic situation and ever more challenging environmental issues even the American car manufacturers have had to sit up and take notice. Of greater concern to them the Japanese have stolen a march on US manufacturers which has meant a rather large chunk of market share has gone to Japanese manufacturers resulting in Toyota car for sale being the top seller in the US.
The Americans have launched a counter attack and Chrysler car now has a range of models to woo us.
You get a lot of motor for your buck here with many enticing standard features not to mention some pretty good extras available also. Models range from the 3.0V6 CRD saloon to the frankly outrageous 6.1 V8 SRT saloon with its bright orange HEMI engine block that propels the SRT from 0-62.5 MPH in 5 seconds and on to 168mph where possible. The output is 425 BHP with 420lb ft of torque, all this from a car that weighs in at just a shade under two tons!
There is also a touring model across the range as well as common rail diesel options. The 300c is a very impressive car which is both aesthetically pleasing and packed with great features.
Next up is the PT Cruiser which on first glance looks like the sort of vehicle you might see a member of ZZ Top step out of. The tall profile doesn’t suit all tastes but Chrysler has scored another winner here.
PT stands for “Personal Transportation” and although the Cruiser is quite a common sight on the roads now they are still individualist enough to have great appeal. Available in 13 models this five door hatch comes with a 2.2 CRD common rail diesel unit and 2.4 DOHC petrol versions. With ever increasing fuel price rises and more punitive CO2 based emissions taxes on the horizon the diesel model has the edge over the petrol.
The entry model is the 2.4 Classic and rises to the 2.2 CRD limited manual. All models have a good range of features as standard for a vehicle in this class with some tasty optional extras available. Better make a start on growing that beard!
Moving on to Chrysler’s flagship people carrier the Grand Voyager. The new version of which has claimed to reinvent the favoured mode of transport for those with larger families.
The all new Voyager certainly boasts some great features and seats seven in comfort. There is room for all the family and the higher spec models have enough in-car entertainment to silence the age old cries.
As you would expect from a family vehicle safety is a key feature so advanced multistage airbags, all-round disc brakes with ABS and Brake Assist. Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) all come as standard.
Engines are available as three 2.8 CRD diesels and is topped off with the 3.8 V6. The load space is good and becomes positively cavernous with the seats removed. Chryslers innovative new Swivel’ Go seating arrangement is a clever feature. An extremely well equipped people carrier which is worthy of further investigation.
The Sebring is a new model which takes its styling cues from the Crossfire heritage. An imposing design with smart features such as remote keyless entry and a spacious interior which seats five in comfort. Three engines are available 2.0 and 2.4 petrol and a 2.0 diesel. A good level of equipment is on offer throughout the range.

If you are interested in finding ATVs for sale, you only have to look! That is right; finding ATVs for sale is easy, depending on where you live. It may not be very easy to find any ATVs for sale in a large city, but if you live in a place where ATV riding is common, there should be many ATVs for sale that you can purchase.
One of the best places to find used ATVs for sale, at a typically low price, is in the newspaper. If you search the classifieds, there should be a section where automotive or ATVs can be listed, and this is where you will find ATVs for sale. Once you have found a few listings, call and inquire for further information, and to look at the ATVs for sale.
A dealership is a common place to find both new and used ATVs for sale. These dealerships can be found all across the country, and most will deal in one or two particular makes of ATV. This means, if you are interested in finding a Kawasaki, make sure you go to a Kawasaki dealership. If you go to a Honda dealership, you probably won’t find the Kawasaki ATVs for sale that you want.

Dealing directly with the atv manufacturer is a great way to find out where you can locate ATVs for sale. You can call, email, or write a manufacturer to find out where they have sponsored dealers that are authorized to sell their ATVs. This is the best way to make sure you find a reputable dealer who is backed by the manufacturer for maintenance and replacement parts, in case you need them.
Finding ATVs for sale can be done in many different ways, and they are not limited to those listed above. Ultimately, you can choose to find ATVs for sale in any way you wish, but be sure to try several methods, in order to find the best selection possible.
